Don’t worry if you don’t want to snorkel or can’t swim as you are welcome to relax on the boat whilst everyone else snorkels.
If you are concerned that you are not a good swimmer, all the boats have life vests on board and I recommend that you use them to assist your flotation. They also usually carry ‘foam noodles’ and these are also good flotation devices to tuck under your arms and lay your body on top.
If you choose ‘Whitehaven Xpress’ or the ‘Whitehaven Beach / Langford Reef/ Daydream Island tour‘, both these boats have a glass bottom boat so you can still enjoy the day tour to Whitehaven Beach, Hill Inlet and the snorkel stop.
The Great Barrier Reef tour has the semi submersible and the underwater viewing area as well as the life vests and noodles.
All the staff on board the boats will be watching out for your safety so communicate with them and let them know your concerns. They will assist you to ensure your day is enjoyable!
